 George W. DuRant, CPA/ABV, ASA is a CPA and holds accreditations in business valuation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Appraisers. He is a past president/chairman of the Columbia Tax Study Group, the South Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers, and the Business Valuation & Litigation Services Committee of the South Carolina Association of CPAs.
Mr. DuRant has authored and co-authored articles published in South Carolina Lawyer, The CPA Report, and other professional publications. He is a frequent expert witness in commercial litigation involving accounting principles, ethics, insolvency, damages, and business valuation.
